Inman has released its coveted “Power Players” list, an annual index of real estate’s most influential figures. In 2024, two important RE/MAX leaders earned the title.
Erik Carlson, CEO of RE/MAX Holdings, the parent company of RE/MAX, LLC, Motto Mortgage and wemlo, and Nick Bailey, President and CEO of RE/MAX, LLC, were among those Inman identified as the most powerful people in real estate.
According to Inman, the visionaries and innovators who made the list stem from the residential real estate, mortgage, financing, and proptech industries, and are playing an instrumental role in shaping the future of real estate.
Erik Carlson
In November 2023, Carlson became CEO of RE/MAX Holdings, Inc., the parent company of RE/MAX, Motto Mortgage, and wemlo, the mortgage loan processing company. An experienced Fortune 200, public company CEO, Carlson provides direction for the RE/MAX and Motto Mortgage franchise networks and their respective industries.
Nick Bailey
Bailey has his finger on the pulse of all things real estate. He’s the President and CEO of RE/MAX, LLC – and at the helm of the world’s most productive real estate network, as measured by residential transaction sides.
A real estate license holder for over 25 years, Bailey is the voice of the RE/MAX brand. He makes frequent media appearances and speaks to many real estate groups, providing timely housing market updates and sharing insights on the industry as a whole.
Bailey also holds a top 10 spot on the 2024 Swanepoel Power 200 list, a ranking of current real estate power players.
