For six years, Greg Fischer grew his boutique real estate brokerage – West + Main Homes Oregon – to a thriving local enterprise in the city of Bend, Oregon. He curated a group of talented professionals with ample experience and diverse skillsets to provide quality service to the area’s homebuyers and sellers. And he continually pursued opportunities that could help further business growth.
That’s why the prospect of a moving his operations to a RE/MAX brokerage was particularly intriguing.
Fischer connected with Ryan Buccola, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Key Properties in Bend, to see what the global real estate brand is all about. Buccola showcased the many benefits of a RE/MAX affiliation – resources, support and a global reputation rooted in productivity, just to name a few.
Fischer quickly realized that joining forces with Buccola’s operation would open new doors for his agents if they could leverage the power of the RE/MAX brand – which consumers recognize as the No. 1 name in real estate*.
Accordingly, the two entrepreneurs joined their businesses together under the existing RE/MAX Key Properties name. Now, with close to 30 more agents in the mix, the growing RE/MAX brokerage is home to nearly 90 total agents.
“We pride ourselves on being a cohesive group of high-level professionals,” says Buccola, who has been at the helm of the brokerage for nine years. “The agents at RE/MAX Key Properties represent an extraordinary amount of expertise in a variety of industry niches, but our tight-knit culture melds it into a solid, collective offering. We’re excited to welcome our newest agents into the mix and expand our RE/MAX family.”
Fischer is thrilled for the new alignment, too.
“This move is a major upgrade of services and support,” he says. “With RE/MAX Key Properties we gain local, full-time support staff, state-of-the-art office space and strong culture. Our newly combined team will offer an even more impressive level of service to our clients.”
It’s a move that can help with business visibility, too, Fischer believes.
“Overwhelmed by constant marketing, today’s consumers are seeking trust and connection. An iconic brand plays a key role in anchoring that trust,” he explains.
Equipping agents with the latest and best technology features was one of the leading factors for Fischer’s move to RE/MAX Key Properties. In this new venture, he will be staying on as Head of Technology of RE/MAX Key Properties and ensuring the brokerage is harnessing the full potential of tech in today’s real estate landscape.
What’s helpful: RE/MAX agents have access to the brand’s plethora of exclusive digital resources designed for productive professionals. They can take advantage of robust tech solutions, expansive education offerings, professional marketing materials, customizable social media assets and so much more.
Plus, the collaborative culture – found in RE/MAX offices networkwide – is a benefit many of the brand’s affiliates wouldn’t trade for anything. Buccola’s brokerage is a perfect example of that same culture.
“We’re always taking business to the next level. RE/MAX is the global powerhouse in real estate – and this means we can serve our clients no matter where they are moving in the world. Having local ownership gives us the ability to be nimble, engaged and active in supporting our local community,” Buccola says. “We truly have a local impact with global reach.”
Bringing aboard agents through this merger – and expanding market share – is just one part of that next level business growth.
“This strategic move marks the next chapter of RE/MAX Key Properties,” Buccola says. “We look forward to continuing to support our market with the best service around.”
