Yep, you read that right. Billions – with a B. Through strategic marketing and creative promotions, the RE/MAX brand made quite the impression in 2024. With a presence in more than 110 countries and territories, RE/MAX also has a global footprint unmatched by any other real estate brand.

In the U.S. alone, the balloon-backed brand garnered over 4.9 billion media impressions in 2024 through mediums like outdoor advertising, digital video and streaming, TV, radio, balloon appearances, print, local event marketing, social media and more.

Of note: RE/MAX brand recognition on local, national and global levels has been a competitive edge curated over time – 51 years to be exact.

RE/MAX continued to have the most trusted real estate agents

According to a proprietary RE/MAX study by Camp+King, trust is the most important factor to today’s real estate consumers when selecting a real estate agent. And in 2024, shoppers voted RE/MAX as the brand with the #1 Most Trusted Real Estate Agents in the USA* and Canada** – an accolade the brand has won year after year.

That’s just how affiliates of the balloon-backed brand operate – after all, RE/MAX agents average more sales than other real estate agents. Accordingly, RE/MAX agents averaged doubled the sales of other agents in the 2024 RealTrends Verified rankings of large brokerages***.

RE/MAX was named a top franchisor (again!)

RE/MAX is a business that builds businesses – and that was put on full display this year. 2024 marked the 40th year straight of RE/MAX being named a top franchisor on the prestigious Entrepreneur Franchise 500 list. And, RE/MAX ranked as the No. 1 real estate franchise brand in the 2024 Franchise Times Top 400, which analyzes top U.S.-based franchisors, for the 16th straight year.

RE/MAX agents spent thousands of hours leveling up their real estate education

It’s true: RE/MAX agents lead the industry in professional designations – and they’re always seeking more opportunities to continue learning.

In 2024, RE/MAX agents around the world collectively spent thousands of hours strengthening skills and mastering new ones via classes, webinars, coaching programs and more offered through RE/MAX University® (RU), the brand’s exclusive digital learning hub. This year, RU offered more than 1,100 education opportunities focused on everything from foundational skills to niche real estate facets. RE/MAX also expanded its growing Education Partner program throughout the year, adding to its repertoire of dedicated learning partners.

The RE/MAX balloon made over 1,000 appearances

Did you see a RE/MAX balloon floating by in the sky this year? It’s not surprising!

The brand’s beloved basket-clad aircraft made more than 1,000 appearances around the U.S. in 2024, including hot air balloon flights and tethers, cold air balloons, parade units, basket displays and more. Some RE/MAX affiliates chartered the balloon for community events and school education opportunities to help others learn about the wonderful world of ballooning.

The RE/MAX network surpassed $200 million donated to Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals

Community care is a priority for RE/MAX affiliates, and a primary way many choose to give back is by supporting CMN Hospitals. Announced during the 2024 R4®, the RE/MAX network’s efforts – through the RE/MAX Miracle Home and Miracle Property Program, RE/MAX Month of Miracles and more – reached a new, remarkable donation milestone. Since 1992, RE/MAX agents have donated nearly $210 million to CMN Hospitals across the U.S. and Canada.

RE/MAX affiliates gave back to their communities in other ways, too – and the 2024 Global RE/MAX Week highlighted compassion on a worldwide scale. From Ecuador to South Africa to Turkey to Mexico (just to name a few places!), members of the RE/MAX network helped relieve hunger, cleaned up public spaces, donated life-saving supplies, raised money for important causes and brought joy to their communities.

2024 was certainly a year to remember for RE/MAX, which is building on that momentum heading into 2025.
