Kindness. Compassion. Empathy. These are the qualities of people who have an unwavering desire to better the lives of others. Unsurprisingly, these qualities are commonly found among RE/MAX agents, who share a passion for their communities and the people who live there.
Global RE/MAX Week is a time the brand’s compassionate culture shines especially bright. Each fall, a special week is dedicated to the RE/MAX network going above and beyond to support communities around the world. During the 2024 Global RE/MAX Week – which took place from October 6-12 – agents and offices from different countries and continents found unique ways to make a big difference.
Here are just a few ways RE/MAX affiliates participated in the fourth-annual Global RE/MAX Week:
Helping solve hunger
From volunteering at food banks to packing meals, many RE/MAX affiliates helped combat hunger within their communities.
Affiliates with RE/MAX Parkside Affiliates in Olympia, Washington, packed meal bags to accompany Holiday food boxes handed out by the Thurston County Food Bank. Affiliates with RE/MAX At the Lake in Chapin, South Carolina, volunteered at the Chapin We Care Center sorting packaged food.

Bringing happiness to others
Many RE/MAX affiliates found creative ways to bring joy to their communities.
Jeff Wright, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Rise in Naugatuck, Connecticut, chartered the RE/MAX hot air balloon and hosted tethered rides during the South Windsor Apple Festival to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals.

Aaron Switzer, an agent with RE/MAX CORE Realty in Prince George, British Columbia, donated LEGO sets and Nintendo Switch games to young patients receiving treatment in a local pediatric ward.
Offices throughout RE/MAX Turkey visited local orphanages and brought toys, furniture and other helpful supplies to the residents. And a continent away, affiliates with RE/MAX Tunisia visited the Mongi Slim Hospital in La Marsa, where they visited patients and brought them bouquets of flowers.
Cleaning up community spaces
Plenty of RE/MAX affiliates lent a helping hand to clean up and improve outdoor areas.
Some members of RE/MAX of Southern Africa participated in a beach clean-up effort in Muzienberg, Western Cape. Others helped spruce up the exterior of the local Westlake Community Centre.

Plus, Amit Singh, an agent with RE/MAX 4 Ace in Mumbai, India, planted trees in his community, too.
Building homes
Real estate professionals understand the importance of stable housing. Accordingly, RE/MAX Benchmark Realty Group in Newburgh, New York, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh to help build homes for families in need of affordable housing.
The brokerage said, “We don’t just sell houses, we help build them.”
Caring for animals
Many efforts during Global RE/MAX Week benefitted animals, too.

Providing relief in the wake of recent hurricanes
In late September and early October, multiple hurricanes made landfall throughout the southeastern region of the U.S. and caused large-scale destruction of homes, roads, communities and lives. Happening coincidentally around Global RE/MAX Week, the storms gave RE/MAX affiliates near and far a chance to jump in and provide relief to those impacted.
For example, Will Poteat and Wayne Brooks, Co-Owners of RE/MAX Crossroads in Lincolnton, North Carolina, turned their office into a donation drop-off center. They also used their own vehicles – including trucks and trailers – to haul supplies up treacherous roads to reach stranded people.
The care RE/MAX affiliates have for their communities doesn’t stop when Global RE/MAX Week ends. Plenty of agents and offices find creative ways to support others all year round.
Many affiliates get involved with the RE/MAX Miracle Home and Miracle Property Program and earn the “Miracle Agent” title. A cornerstone component of the RE/MAX brand’s longstanding charitable relationship with CMN Hospitals, the program enables RE/MAX affiliates to donate to their local CMN Hospitals affiliate location after each closed transaction.
Since 1992, RE/MAX agents have donated nearly $210 million to CMN Hospitals in the U.S. and Canada. Learn more about the impactful partnership.
And, heads up for next year! The 2025 Global RE/MAX Week will take place October 5-11.
