Under the beaming Southwestern sun in Scottsdale, Arizona, real estate brokerage owner Joe Sisneros set out on a hike, expecting to enjoy the serenity and scenery. What he wasn’t expecting was to strike up conversation with a RE/MAX franchise owner along the trail. Sisneros looks back on the encounter as an extremely fortunate happenstance. The two became friends.

“One day we were out mountain biking when I asked him, ‘Is a RE/MAX franchise worth the money?’ And he looked at me and said, ‘Without a doubt, it’s worth every penny,”’ Sisneros recalls.

He took those words to heart.

After being in the real estate industry for 18 years – including some time as a RE/MAX agent – and operating his own successful unaffiliated brokerage, the growth-minded Sisneros was ready to elevate his business. So he decided to convert his company, JS Real Estate, to RE/MAX Elite.

“When I considered the value of what RE/MAX offers, it wasn’t a hard decision,” he says.
