Interest in owning a RE/MAX and/or Motto Mortgage franchise continues to remain high. Both brands – one a 46-year industry mainstay and the other a rising startup – are recognized in Entrepreneur magazine’s widely respected 2019 Fastest-Growing Franchises Ranking.

RE/MAX, LLC, which just had its second-best year of franchise sales ever, and Motto Franchising, LLC, which sold 100 Motto Mortgage franchises before its second birthday in October, operate from the same headquarters building in Denver. RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. is the parent company of both brands.

For the sixth straight year, RE/MAX was the highest-ranked real estate brand on the Fastest-Growing Franchises list.

Now Motto Franchising, whose innovative Motto Mortgage brand is the first and only national mortgage brokerage franchise in the U.S., has joined the ranks for the first time.

“Eclipsing 1,100 RE/MAX franchise sales last year was an incredible statement on the health of the RE/MAX brand and system,” says RE/MAX Holdings CEO Adam Contos. “The Motto Mortgage brand is built on many of the same principles as RE/MAX – a great concept, high-quality franchisees, a focus on customer service – so it’s not surprising to see it following the same upward path.”

Last year was just the fifth time RE/MAX exceeded 1,000 in annual franchise sales. In addition to making the Fastest-Growing Franchises list, RE/MAX also ranked No. 15 – and No. 1 among real estate brands – on Entrepreneur’s 2019 Franchise 500, released earlier this year.

Motto Franchising, with nearly 80 Motto Mortgage offices open in 30 states, ranks No. 72 on the Fastest-Growing list.

“Earning a place among some of the most respected franchise brands with only two years under our belt is an incredible accomplishment,” says Motto Franchising President Ward Morrison.
