With the extended time at home, 2020 was a year of reflection and, for many, great change. For two New Hampshire real estate agents, 2020 also marked the start of a new chapter in their careers.

This past year, Karin Provencher, a real estate agent in Bedford, returned to her RE/MAX roots after nearly five years away. While she originally made the transition to Keller Williams in 2016 for a change of pace in the industry, she knew fairly early on that the KW brokerage would not be her forever home. Despite her uncertainty, she stayed while always remaining in touch and up to date with the latest happenings at her local RE/MAX office.

Fortunately for Provencher, her time away from the RE/MAX brand was not for nothing, as she was introduced to up-and-coming agent Paula Manniello. The duo quickly bonded over their shared passion for real estate and their aspirations to have bigger roles in the industry. After moving to New Hampshire in 2012, Manniello was anxious for a taste of the fast-paced life she was familiar with having lived in Long Island, New York. Real estate offered her the energy and flexibility she needed as a mom of three.

Given her decades of experience, Provencher acted as a mentor to Manniello, helping her find her footing as a buyer and listing representative. As a result of the strong bond the two developed, the duo mutually decided to have Manniello become a member of Provencher’s real estate team, NH Realty Gals. Shortly after, Provencher made the decision to move back to RE/MAX Synergy – and Manniello joined her.

“I was excited to join a highly productive organization that was focused on producing great results, developing a strong professional community, and providing the resources we need to succeed as a team,” Manniello shares. “We’re especially looking forward to interacting with other agents within the network in the near future.”

In the year since joining Provencher’s team and making the move to RE/MAX Synergy, Manniello completed 25 transactions, nearly quadrupling her production from the previous year.

About her decision to return to RE/MAX, Provencher notes, “In my time away from RE/MAX, I learned what I valued most. The first was being around a group of agents that were all focused on doing their best work. The second was the freedom to pursue the transactions I wanted no matter if they were residential or commercial. Ultimately, this allowed me to further grow my team with confidence.”

While the circumstances of this past year have been challenging for all, both Provencher and Manniello are excited for what the future holds at RE/MAX Synergy and are hopeful for the opportunity to further engrain themselves in the wider network, post-pandemic and beyond.
