RE/MAX Holdings CEO Adam Contos has compiled his knowledge, lessons and best advice into a book – and you can get your hands on a copy this fall.
On this week’s episode of the Start With a Win podcast, Adam shares the journey of writing his new book “Start With a Win: Tools and Lessons to Create Personal and Business Success” – and how constant brainstorming, like jotting down quick ideas, can ultimately lead to creating a valuable resource for others.
“This is my chance to put [those] hundreds of podcast [episodes] that we put together, and the thoughts behind all of [that] onto paper,” Adam says.
Like the content of the Start With a Win podcast, Adam’s book focuses on aspects of individual growth and business development, as well as advice on leadership and guidance toward success in any venture.
“Leadership is about having this insatiable desire to learn,” he explains. “Leadership is not taking and leaving, leadership is taking and giving.”
The process of writing his book included working with intention. For over half a year, Adam wrote bit by bit each day to carry momentum. Those constant and evolving ideas pared down to 10 succinct chapters.
