In October, RE/MAX broker/owners in Canada gathered in downtown Toronto for a long-awaited, highly anticipated three-day event to connect with each other, hear from the RE/MAX Canada region and gain takeaways to help them grow their businesses. The Canadian Broker Meeting marked the first time RE/MAX broker/owners from the RE/MAX Western Canada region and the recently acquired RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic region met as a new, unified RE/MAX Canada region.
“I cannot overstate the importance of creating opportunities for our network to gather,” said Christopher Alexander, Senior Vice President of RE/MAX Canada. “This was evident from the moment we announced the event, to finally stepping back into a room with colleagues whom we have not seen for 18-plus months. The strength of our network comes from the relationships within, and I am excited that through the acquisition of the Ontario-Atlantic region, we have expanded the opportunity for our Canadian colleagues to gather, share and learn from one another.”
Highlights from the event include special guest speakers like real estate coach Jared James, business coach Mike Lipkin and RE/MAX President Nick Bailey, as well as an interview between CIBC’s Chief Economist Benjamin Tal and RE/MAX executives Elton Ash and Christopher Alexander. Paired with a cocktail reception at the stunning Ricarda’s venue and team-building activities taking place around the city of Toronto, RE/MAX Canada broker/owners left with a refreshed energy.
“This was truly an opportunity to connect our newly formed Canadian region with the brand, the new RE/MAX Canada regional team and leadership,” said Elton Ash, Regional Executive Vice President of RE/MAX Canada. “These events also allow us to showcase to broker/owners the vast suite of tools and resources available from RE/MAX, LLC, and how to leverage and use them effectively in their business.”
