RE/MAX affiliates collected trash. Donated blood. Raised money. Made blankets. Pampered first responders. And so much more, all in one day – and working toward the same mission.

On October 6, the first-annual Global RE/MAX Day, the RE/MAX network – with more than 140,000 agents and a presence in more than 110 countries and territories – truly came together to give back.

All around the globe, RE/MAX affiliates volunteered their time and energy to further strengthen the communities in which they live and work. Explore the #GlobalREMAXDay hashtag on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to catch up on the amazing – and unique – ways agents and offices came together to help others.

Here’s a glimpse at what they did:

RE/MAX Caribbean and Central America helped build and equip a school library in the beach community of El Salvador, in collaboration with Corazones Solidarios and two rotary clubs.

Participants from RE/MAX Tunisia partnered with SOS Children’s Villages, installing piggy banks in all of their offices to collect donations for children in need. RE/MAX Philippines also partnered with the charity, noting that all proceeds from ticket sales to their Momentum Masterclass series benefit the charity, too. And RE/MAX Divina – Liv Mall in Brazil collected donations for children and teenagers undergoing cancer treatments through the organization Donos do Amanhã.

In Denver, Colorado, the RE/MAX World Headquarters marked the day by making tie blankets for Children’s Hospital Colorado, the local affiliate hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Various departments gave back in their own ways, like volunteering with the Food Bank of the Rockies.

And in South Africa, RE/MAX Border supported Breath of Life, Ebenezer Old Age Home and Chumani Primary School by putting together baskets with useful supplies.
