Live From Las Vegas: 2024 RE/MAX R4 Has Begun!

Thousands of RE/MAX agents from all around the world have touched down in Las Vegas, Nevada. With chatter buzzing through the halls, hugs happening between friends who live halfway around the globe, and smiles spanning from ear-to-ear, it’s clear: The 2024 RE/MAX R4 is officially underway at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Real estate professionals near and far look forward to all the unmatched business building opportunities they find at the convention each year.

“I’m here to experience how incredible RE/MAX is – and meet people from all over the world,” says Kris Garing, an agent with RE/MAX Rouge River Realty Ltd. In Toronto, Ontario, who is attending R4 for the first time.

R4 week officially kicks off today with the Welcome Reception – this year at the Mandalay Bay Beach. But the world-renowned venue was already bustling with RE/MAX energy over the weekend.

More than 1,000 RE/MAX affiliates arrived at R4 early to register and start their convention experience. On both Saturday and Sunday, hallways – and TV areas showing the NCAA Men’s and Women’s basketball tournament games – were filled with RE/MAX affiliates enjoying the later-than-usual timing of this year’s convention.

Others seized the chance to get a head start on learning. Pre-convention courses enabled residential agents to sharpen their skills and earn professional designations such as Certified New Home Specialist (CNHS), Residential Construction Certified (RCC), Residential Remodeling Specialist (RRS), and Certified Probate Specialist (CPS). On the commercial side of the business, attendees learned fundamentals of commercial real estate accounting.

In the evening, learning gave way to celebrating. Hundreds of attendees saw old friends and made new connections at the RE/MAX Canada Reception while Global Region Owners and their teams enjoyed a festive evening of awards and networking.

Attendees have a packed schedule this week. Tomorrow, they’ll attend the Opening General Session, a gathering to celebrate all things RE/MAX. RE/MAX leaders – like Co-Founder Dave Liniger, RE/MAX President Amy Lessinger, and RE/MAX Holdings CEO Erik Carlson – will be a main presence on the stage. They’ll be joined by other famous speakers – including an international-sensation keynote speaker.

Then, attendees have opportunities to attend a wide variety of real estate classes, learn new skills, make new friends, build referral relationships, and rejoice their hard work among fellow real estate pros in Las Vegas.
