Leaning Into Learning: RE/MAX Continues 8-Week Virtual Technology Tour

The RE/MAX Technology Engagement Consultant (TEC) team is helping U.S. affiliates close out 2020 on a professional high note.

The group’s RE/MAX TEC Tour 2020  is rolling across the U.S. and making stops in more than 30 states. And in true 2020 fashion, it’s all being masterfully facilitated from RE/MAX HQ in Denver – virtually.

As the name implies, technology is the focus of this 8-week tour, which brings unparalleled energy, knowledge and expertise straight to RE/MAX affiliates looking to maximize the tools available to them. Hosted over Zoom, each free 8-hour session is designed to be a conversation, not a webinar, and ranges in topics from website setup and lead routing to SEO and CRM management.

“While RE/MAX agents are out there doing what they do best, RE/MAX HQ and the TEC team are dedicated to supporting that,” says Ashley Rosa, RE/MAX Director of Technology Engagement. “We’ve worked hard to create the same atmosphere in the TEC Tour as if we were doing this in person.”

To that end, the TEC team – known for twice-weekly webinars during the onset of the pandemic – individualizes their training by location and, in doing so, fosters an environment primed for interactive learning, with plenty of time for questions and demonstration.

And because the tour happens in real time, the two TEC trainers leading each session are able to adapt and update the content every week for the approximately 50 to 100 attendees, all varying in their abilities – from beginner to advanced.

“Each day is a hands-on workshop,” Rosa says. “By creating ‘stops’ in different states, we’re able to speak directly about local markets and showcase website examples that work in their area – it resonates with the attendees in a different way.”

Launched in October, the tour concludes with its final presentation on December 17 in Kentucky. U.S. affiliates looking to enhance their skills and technology-implementation strategies can register for any of the TEC Tour 2020 remaining dates, though they’re encouraged to sign up for a presentation in their home state.

Affiliates have the option to attend for the whole day, or pick a la carte based on the topics and tools they’re most interested in. All sessions are hosted in the local time zone.
