For over two decades, Aaron Walker has been participating in mastermind groups to find success. That’s why he created his own.
Walker, an entrepreneur, author of View From the Top, and Founder and President of the Iron Sharpens Iron Mastermind Group, believes everyone can benefit from being part of an unbiased, collaborative environment. Isolation is the enemy to excellence, he says.
On this week’s episode of the Start With a Win podcast, Walker joins RE/MAX CEO Adam Contos to share the trials and tribulations he’s faced throughout his career as a business owner and entrepreneur – and how mastermind groups have played a significant role in bringing his own accomplishments to new levels.
“If you really want to take your life to the new heights that you’re so dreaming about, it takes encouragement, it takes accountability [and] it takes people with different perspectives to get you there,” Walker explains.
“One of the best assets of a mastermind group is the varying perspectives.”

Seeing the impact mastermind groups have had on his own life, Walker decided to start his own group. His Iron Sharpens Iron Mastermind business has grown over the past six years, now offering 19 groups throughout nine countries. These accountability meetups take place over Zoom, which means members are still able to collaborate during COVID-19.
Tune in to learn the steps Walker suggests entrepreneurs take to get started in a mastermind community.
