The new leader of operations in the RE/MAX West Region has a passion for real estate and a 16-year track record of proven growth. Equipped with a plethora of industry knowledge and experience, Ben Fairfield has joined RE/MAX, LLC as Vice President, Region Development and leads regional operations and franchisee support in 15 U.S. states. He succeeds Amy Lessinger, who now serves as RE/MAX Senior Vice President, Region Development.
Prior to joining RE/MAX, Fairfield helped launch SUCCESS Coaching, part of SUCCESS Enterprises, a subsidiary of eXp World Holdings, Inc., and built successful brokerages in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho – where he will remain based.
That experience, Fairfield says, will help him help the company-owned region.
“As real estate continues to evolve, RE/MAX will continue to be the industry leader,” he says. “I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t work. The brand is focused on having a clear perspective and a forward-facing mission – and I’m thrilled to be part of the RE/MAX leadership team driving it forward.”

In his first 90 days with RE/MAX, Fairfield says he is focused on building relationships with affiliates in the western states and identifying what they need in order to achieve the utmost success. He is especially eager for the opportunity to provide direction and support to like-minded entrepreneurs.
Fairfield, a licensed real estate broker, believes RE/MAX holds unique leverage in the industry with 49 years of credibility coupled with a growth-minded vision and emphasis on the implementation of technology to support agents.
He shares, “I wanted to join RE/MAX because of the strength and consistency of the brand – and consistency is key. There aren’t too many companies that have a more solid past track record of success. The greatest thing about RE/MAX is that the company has continued to evolve while staying true to its core identity along the way.”
Lessinger, a former RE/MAX agent and Broker/Owner herself, believes Fairfield’s industry experience and passion for leading others make him an asset to the brand.
“Ben has had those midnight hours at the office, trying to get month-end finished. He knows what it takes to grow a brokerage and a brand in real estate. He understands what is required to find success as a Broker/Owner and as a real estate agent,” Lessinger says. “Having such longstanding experience in the industry matters – it’s important. Ben is well-positioned to help lead the West Region to future growth.”
Fairfield is passionate about local involvement, too, having served as the past President and Director of the Coeur d’Alene Multiple Listing Service (MLS), and he stays active with other organizations outside of real estate.
“I think of myself as a collaborative leader and I truly care about the people that I’m serving,” Fairfield says.
“My leadership style is rooted in trust. Helping others achieve goals and find success is how I quantify my own success.”
