RE/MAX recently revealed that late spring historically sees a surge of inventory hitting the market, meaning more options to choose from. And the median sales prices in multiple metro areas are still under $300,000.

According to the latest RE/MAX National Housing Report studying 50 markets across the U.S., here were the 10 locations with the lowest median sales price in March 2024:

Median Sales Price: $215,000

2. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Median Sales Price: $225,000

3. St. Louis, Missouri

Median Sales Price: $229,700

4. Wichita, Kansas

Median Sales Price: $235,000

5. Detroit, Michigan

Median Sales Price: $250,000

6. Tulsa, Oklahoma

Median Sales Price: $260,000

7. Cincinnati, Ohio

8. New Orleans, Louisiana

Median Sales Price: $285,000
