John Sable can remember the defining moment.

The booj Senior Vice President of operations recalls meeting with other booj and RE/MAX leaders in early 2018 and deciding how to launch the platform and new remax.com

The options were to put RE/MAX on the existing booj platform or do something bold. The decision: to take the more challenging route, building a custom product that is wholly RE/MAX.

“Looking back, it was definitely the right move,” said Sable, noting that the bold decision set the stage for booj to eventually become the network’s global technology solution.

Joining the “Good Morning RE/MAX with Nick Bailey” show, Sable said it’s an exciting time for RE/MAX affiliates using the booj platform, especially its dynamic CRM.

Already, more than 15,000 booj-powered agent websites have gone live, and an average of 100 more are coming online every day. Perhaps most exciting, he says, leads for RE/MAX agents are way up, including a 33% year-over-year increase in March.

Sable said the unexpected stay-at-home period has given many agents more time to get organized, clean up their CRM database and fortify their web presence. These agents, he added, now have a better way to manage their connections with potential buyers and sellers.

“At its heart, real estate is still a relationship business,” he said.
