REMAX is moving fast with the aim of helping agents win more listings, save more time and make more money. It’s a direction that’s resonating.

During the Opening General Session of the REMAX R4 convention on February 23, the room was electric – with more than 4,200 REMAX affiliates from 55 countries cheering as REMAX CEO Erik Carlson took the stage.

“There’s a faster pace of play,” said Carlson. “We’re moving quickly – and with purpose – to strengthen the advantages of being with REMAX. And we’re doubling down on the winning culture that defines this brand.”

That winning culture – shaped by the brand’s record-high of more than 145,000 affiliates – is based in trust, productivity and professionalism. And an ample amount of swagger.

“A year ago, I stood up here and said we’d strengthen our swagger – and get loud about it,” Carlson said. “With your help, we absolutely have. Outside the network? People are talking. And let me tell you – the industry is curious about what we’re doing. They can sense that something big is happening at REMAX. You know what? They’re right!”

REMAX has had a busy year of innovation and product launches. Carlson pointed the audience to the R4 MarketPlace, where attendees could get up-close-and-personal with many of the new resources. New products, services and programs designed to keep REMAX affiliates at the top include uniting the powerful design tool Canva with REMAX brand kits and listing data for powerful marketing. Others included SkyView, an AI experience that allows affiliates to grow, promote and operate their businesses. Also featured were the revamped remax.com and remax.ca among others.

These debuts follow a year that saw the launch of more than a dozen new services, including Marketing Studio (the evolution of Marketing as a Service, or MaaS), MAXEngage (gamified social media), MAXRefer (global referrals), MAX AI (online digital assistant), MasterPitch (listing presentation), Global Passport (global properties), HomeView (consumer app) and more.

Interest in REMAX, Carlson said, should come as no surprise. REMAX has the largest global footprint in real estate and has a presence in over 120 countries and territories. Just last year, REMAX expanded its presence in six additional countries.

Carlson drove the point home with two recent REMAX conversions. Last July, one of Hawaii’s top brokerages brought 170 top-producers across six offices into the REMAX community. Just last month, in Toronto, a highly respected real estate family brought 17 offices and nearly 1,200 agents to REMAX Canada. It was the largest REMAX conversion ever and the largest in Canadian real estate history.

“Buyers and sellers want and deserve a professional – and they know where to find one:

At a REMAX office,” Carlson said. “Whether in Cleveland, Cape Town or Calgary – or anywhere in between.”

Big Partnership Revealed

Carlson said as his team is moving at a faster pace of play, it only seemed right to partner with the fastest sport on earth.

REMAX is now the official Real Estate Partner of the INDYCAR team Meyer Shank Racing. Carlson said REMAX would have a presence at races and branding on the Meyer Shank Racing team cars.

A Meyer Shank Racing car was on display later in the MarketPlace and created quite a buzz, with REMAX affiliates from across the globe snapping pictures, taking selfies and thoroughly impressed at the latest partnership.

Quite a Milestone

10 million. That’s the number of transactions REMAX has closed this decade.

“Or as I like to say, 10 million served,” Carlson said. “10 million customer experiences. 10 million lives changed.”

The number he said, speaks to the REMAX difference. He said REMAX stands for experience, expertise, transparency and trust.

“It’s the Power of the Team,” he said. “The swagger of being the best. You’ll feel it, see it and experience it here all week.”
