The everchanging real estate market has driven many agents to reassess their situation and reconsider whether they’re affiliated with the right brokerage and/or brand.
Accordingly, many are moving to RE/MAX. Here are three main reasons they’re doing it:
1. They want to thrive in a supportive, growth-minded environment
Elizabeth Ruehrwein, a top-producing agent in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, left a local unaffiliated brokerage in pursuit of further growth opportunities. A connection with the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Integrity led Ruehrwein to join the brokerage, where she found an abundance of agent support – a cornerstone throughout the RE/MAX network.
“What I love most about RE/MAX is the recognizable brand, the international connections, and the amazing support from my Broker/Owner,” she says.
2. They want to leverage a respected brand name and referral-minded network
Cheryl Solano and Kyle Hermann, who comprise The Arizona Luxury Partners team, aligned with RE/MAX Fine Properties in Scottsdale, Arizona. They sought to combine their personal local brand with a strong brokerage and the power and advantages of a global brand – the trusted RE/MAX name.
“RE/MAX is a well-known, respected brand in the real estate industry, and it was important for us to be associated with a professional organization with a strong reputation. It gave us instant credibility in the market,” the duo shared. “We specifically like the presence of RE/MAX Fine Properties in our marketplace. Their management team’s hands-on support was a large factor in our decision.”
Especially in the luxury market, referrals can come from anywhere – so it’s helpful to be part of a close-knit network with ample opportunities for business connections.
“The in-house training and support staff are very attentive to our needs and access to resources, allowing us the support to grow and succeed in this changing and challenging luxury market. Plus, RE/MAX has a large network of agents and offices, which potentially will offer us valuable connections and referral opportunities,” they said.
3. They want to take advantage of innovative marketing tools
Nick Christopher, who leads the Christopher Property Group with RE/MAX Community in Williamstown, New Jersey, was intrigued by the digital resources offered by RE/MAX. His team is productive – they were formerly ranked the No. 1 team with Century 21 throughout the state – and they’re tech-forward, too. Christopher was looking for fresh ways to enhance their creative marketing efforts.
“Before we made the move, we wanted to check out the marketing tools RE/MAX offers. We learned about Photofy and all of the other resources available through MAX/Center. My wife Gretchen, who is in charge of marketing, was like, ‘This saves me so much time and there’s so much more [customizable] content we can use,'” he says.
“I felt like it was time to make a move and explore ways to grow – RE/MAX was a good fit.”
