Fred and Samera Ebadi were ready to level up their top-producing unaffiliated brokerage in the Toronto metro. As the co-owners of Trade One Realty in North York, Ontario, they understood that being an unaffiliated office – and lacking the competitive advantages of an international brand – could hinder their plans.

They decided to convert to RE/MAX One Realty, bringing with them 75 agents. Resources and referral opportunities were primary reasons, according to the Ebadis.

“After being introduced to the suite of offerings RE/MAX could provide our business and our agents, it was clear that converting our office into a RE/MAX office was in our best interest,” Fred says. “Its strong brand presence in Canada and globally, coupled with its comprehensive tech toolbox and exceptional referral network, were some of the leading factors that empowered us to take this next step with our business.”

Now, the Broker/Owner duo – who have a combined 20 years of experience – are focused on growing their brokerage, helping additional industry professionals succeed, and gaining more market share in their bustling metro.

The timing of the move is crucial as the brokerage and its experienced affiliates adapt to ongoing market change.

“This strategic move will allow us to maintain our growth goals and, most importantly, will allow us to continue exceeding our clients’ expectations,” Samera says.

Other brokerage owners looking to grow in today’s market are seeking out an affiliation with RE/MAX, too. RE/MAX Bentley’s – a formerly unaffiliated brokerage in Massachusetts – caters to luxury agents and top performing teams. They made the decision to position their 60 affiliates with the resources and recognition of the RE/MAX brand.

RE/MAX Premier Inc. in Vaughn, Ontario, also has growth top of mind. They recently acquired Royal LePage Real Estate Professionals, a move which brought more than 95 agents to the brand.
