The 2022 RE/MAX Commercial Symposium is fast approaching – and commercial real estate professionals, as well as those interested in breaking into the commercial sector, are gearing up.

The event will be September 11-13 at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona.

2022 RE/MAX Commercial Symposium

This year’s Commercial Symposium kicks off with a Welcome Reception and optional “Becoming a Top Producing Commercial Listing Broker or Team” class. Then, over the next two days, attendees will hear from industry experts like keynote speaker Greg Lindsay, renowned futurist and journalist, about the future of commercial real estate in urban environments in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as Rick Sharga, Executive Vice President of Marketing Intelligence for ATTOM Data Solutions, with an update on the current commercial real estate market.

Attendees will also join a myriad of educational sessions focused on growth, marketing, technology, and more, all designed to take commercial business to the next level.

Here’s a closer look into some of the educational sessions taking place at the 2022 RE/MAX Commercial Symposium.

Upping Business

During Monday’s session, “Do More Deals, Make More Money,” Paul Rumler, CCE, CEO of CCIM Institute, will join Richard Juge, President of Louisiana-based RE/MAX Commercial Brokers, Inc, to share how the partnership between RE/MAX Commercial and CCIM Institute can expand one’s network and sharpen their use of tools needed to identify more commercial real estate opportunities.

Other sessions will cover topics ranging from using auction platforms to understanding industry evolution to optimizing the RE/MAX referral network.

Best Practices for Marketing

Sessions like Monday’s “Commercial Real Estate Marketing Best Practices,” hosted by Mark Hulsey, Managing Broker of Minnesota-based RE/MAX Results Commercial Group, will cover marketing tactics specifically tailored for commercial real estate professionals.

Plus, the “Marketing Your Edge With RE/MAX Tech” session – also on Monday – will teach attendees how to leverage RE/MAX technology tools to streamline their marketing and create a bigger splash in their local markets.

Creating Opportunity with Land

For many commercial brokers, land is an untapped sector. Join the “Land and Rural Properties” panel on Monday, hosted my moderator Aubrie Kobernus, CEO of the REALTORS® Land Institute, to hear RE/MAX commercial brokers who specialize in land deals share the nuances associated with the industry, as well as their best tips and tricks.
