RE/MAX agents help Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals support the care of millions of children each year – many of them in their own communities.
Since 1992, RE/MAX has been a proud partner of CMN Hospitals, with the RE/MAX network supporting and donating to the 170 CMN affiliate hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. All year round – and especially during the Month of Miracles every August – RE/MAX agents and offices find unique ways to gather community and raise money to support local children.
How can RE/MAX agents get involved with CMN Hospitals on a local level and on a regular basis?
The answer is simple: by joining the Miracle Home Program.
How to become a Miracle Agent
The Miracle Home Program is designed to connect RE/MAX agents with CMN Hospitals by encouraging them to donate on behalf of their client to directly benefit their local CMN Hospital affiliate.
Agents involved in the program make a minimum $25 contribution each time they close a transaction and send an Honor Card to their clients letting them know they donated on their behalf. Agents who donate $500 or more in a calendar year through the Miracle System receive the recognition of being a Miracle Agent.
By reaching Miracle Agent status, RE/MAX agents set themselves apart from competition through their ongoing commitment to helping others. They also can proudly market new listings with the Miracle Home signage and flag their listings on remax.com.
Connect with your local CMN Hospital
A local CMN affiliate hospital may be closer than a lot of people realize. And each time a RE/MAX agent makes a donation, the contribution will directly benefit their community.
After creating an account, explore the hospital database through the “Change Your Hospital” button on cmnhospitals.org.
Or, get in touch directly with a local hospital representative here for insight on opportunities for involvement.
Why RE/MAX agents choose to give back
Whether they love fundraising opportunities, want to support their neighborhood or have a personal connection, RE/MAX agents are drawn to CMN Hospitals for a multitude of reasons. Overall, however, they want to make a positive difference in their own communities.
“My motto is ‘Your greatness isn’t what you have, it’s what you give,'” says Candice Thompson, a RE/MAX Miracle Agent with RE/MAX First in Michigan. “[Donating to CMN Hospitals] is just really near and dear to my heart.”
After having her first child, Thompson recognized that not all parents are fortunate enough to have a healthy child and need extra support in their journeys. That was her driving factor for getting further involved with the Miracle Home Program.
Thompson shares that many of her homebuying and selling clients have children who receive care from Beaumont Children’s Hospital or attend their local affiliate preschool that focuses on speech therapy. Visiting these locations, she says, is life-changing.
For Julie Rose, a RE/MAX Miracle Agent with RE/MAX Town & Country in Michigan, it’s about being able to directly impact her neighbors. “I love being able to give back to my community,” Rose says. “There’s so many great charities out there, but with this one I can say that my money stays local.”
Rose appreciates the close relationship and involvement with her local affiliate hospital, Hurley Children’s Hospital, and the camaraderie it allows like participating in a 5K fun run or helping the hospital coordinator hand out t-shirts.
Thompson adds that her office bonds over the multiple fundraisers it hosts each year for CMN Hospitals, including its annual golf outing.
“Getting your name out there and helping in the community at the same time is a win-win,” Rose says.
RE/MAX affiliates who are ready to make a difference in their community can get involved with the Miracle Home Program today.
