The RE/MAX Northeast Region has a new leader in Sandy Jamison, and she brings with her the energy, vision and knowledge to provide unparalleled support to RE/MAX franchises within the 14-state region.

Jamison, a longtime regional leader in the RE/MAX network, now supports the Northeast Region as Vice President, Region Development. In her new role, she oversees regional operations and franchisee support in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia.

“The RE/MAX Northeast Region shines,” Jamison says. “I really look forward to working with them to continue to grow and shine.”

Drawing on personal franchising experience

Years before Jamison first joined RE/MAX in 2011, she was a franchisee herself of a meal-prep business. This experience, she says, helps her connect to the realities of franchise ownership.

“That was the first exposure I had to franchising being a well-oiled machine that had systems and processes for franchisees to follow. Franchisees have support to go to,” Jamison says.

After selling the franchise, she went on to hold roles in franchise finance and sales until venturing into real estate franchising. Jamison joined RE/MAX as a franchise development consultant in what was then the St. Louis/Central Northern Ohio Region. Over the years, she gained experience working with RE/MAX affiliates in states and regions around the U.S.

“When I came to RE/MAX, I found that being on the support side of operations was my niche and where I like to be,” Jamison shares. “I have empathy for these Broker/Owners because I know that when you buy a franchise, you have the systems and processes – but if you have somebody helping you who’s been there themselves, it can make running a business much easier.”

In 2020, Jamison was named an Area Vice President for the RE/MAX West Region. She worked with Broker/Owners in 15 western states to build and grow their businesses within the RE/MAX network.

Growth in the RE/MAX Northeast Region

Now heading up the Northeast Region, Jamison is leading the charge on helping RE/MAX brokerages grow their businesses.

“It’s been an honor to have worked with such a talented group of RE/MAX Broker/Owners and agents over the years and I’m thrilled for the opportunity to re-engage with owners I previously worked with, as well as meet the incredible new entrepreneurs who are eager to harness the power of this remarkable brand,” Jamison says.

When it comes to business growth, Jamison knows how integral support and brand recognition are to a franchisee, especially those within the RE/MAX network.

“The brand is number one – that’s the biggest advantage to affiliates. They’ve got the power of the RE/MAX brand. They’ve got the support. They’ve got the network. They’ve got a huge quantity of people to reach out to, answer questions and bounce ideas off of,” she says.

“I’m excited to rejoin the RE/MAX Northeast team and hit the ground running.”
