Sheryl Albritton, local real estate expert and brokerage owner, has moved her unaffiliated real estate company to the RE/MAX brand. Now operating as RE/MAX Island Living, the office formerly known as San Juan Island Real Estate will continue to serve buyers and sellers throughout Washington’s San Juan and Skagit counties with an enhanced suite of tools and marketing services.
“The RE/MAX story is founded on empowering agents and elevating women. Lifting others is important to me, and it’s an integral part of the RE/MAX brand,” Albritton said. “Launching as an independent allowed me to combine my years of experience in the construction and permitting field with real estate sales. By aligning with RE/MAX, we have so much more available to us: an entire sea of like-minded entrepreneurs to network with, established marketing and brand awareness, robust technology, and education. It’s a win-win-win for us and our agents.”
Albritton began her career in the public sector over 35 years ago working for the City of Marysville and Mill Creek and later for Skagit County where she served in a variety of roles including Permit Technician, Code Enforcement Technician, Fast-Track Plans Examiner, and Building Inspector. She left Skagit County in 2002 to work full-time in the private sector code consulting under her company Permit Professionals. In 2018, she started San Juan Island Real Estate and continues to hold licenses as an ICC Certified Building Inspector and ICC Certified Permit Technician.
RE/MAX Island Living is located at 232 A Street #5, Friday Harbor in Churchill Square across from Market Chef. RE/MAX Island Living is a full-service real estate firm; agents specialize in luxury, waterfront, residential and vacant land and serve home buyers, sellers and property owners throughout San Juan Island, Orcas Island, Lopez Island and Shaw Island.
