REMAX has taken a bold, public stand that puts consumers first while creating business-building opportunities for REMAX affiliates.
On March 17, 2026, REMAX CEO Erik Carlson announced a new strategic partnership that will give participating REMAX brokerages the opportunity to promote pre-market listings via a new service called Zillow Preview, which is set to debut next month. They'll be exposing these listings to more than 235 million average monthly unique users, the largest consumer real estate audience online.
REMAX was one of the first brands to sign up with Zillow Preview – joining what a Zillow release called a group of "initial partners that each align with Zillow's pro-transparency, pro-consumer principles."
Carlson said the move aligns with the REMAX stance on promoting listings far beyond the "private" platforms that some competitors are developing.
"At a time when the industry is navigating differing opinions on how and where to promote properties for sale, REMAX remains focused on prioritizing transparency, serving consumers' best interests and exposing listings to the broadest range of potential buyers," Carlson said in his announcement email. "That's why we're taking a major step forward on behalf of consumers – and on behalf of you and your marketing efforts."
Under the new program, which is aligned with the transparency consumers want and deserve, Zillow Preview not only ensures these pre-market listings appear higher in search results; it also provides participating agents with the ability to opt out of Days on Zillow displays. Through Zillow Preview, REMAX agents can measure interest, engagement and buyer response before a home hits the open market.
