During Global RE/MAX Week, RE/MAX affiliates around the world give back to the communities in which they live and work. The annual event began as Global RE/MAX Day but grew to RE/MAX Global Week in 2022.
This year, seas apart and thousands of miles away, agents, teams and offices within the RE/MAX network continue their commitment to their neighborhoods and surrounding areas by volunteering, collecting donations, and offering help and support.
“Our local communities have always supported us over the years, and Global RE/MAX Week is another opportunity for our office and associates to give back to those in need in our area,” says Kevin Madden, Co-Owner of RE/MAX Centre Realtors in Jamison, Pennsylvania.

Creative Ways Affiliates Are Giving Back
In Durban, South Africa, members of Team Lewis with RE/MAX Toti (Amanzimtoti) volunteered with the PAW organization to help out local animals in need and deliver rabies vaccinations.
And Debbie German with RE/MAX Advantage in Henderson, Nevada (mentioned previously) collected donations for Project 150, a charitable organization that provides necessities to disadvantaged high school-age students.
And thousands of miles away, RE/MAX Uganda is also helping out children in need. A multi-day effort, RE/MAX Uganda has been visiting local schools this week and delivering school and sanitary supplies to the students.

Members of Team Ladner with RE/MAX Harmony in Wakefield, Massachusetts, spent the morning packing lunch and dinner bags for My Brother’s Table, a local soup kitchen.
“It is important to us to give back because we genuinely care about our community,” shares Ladner. “The devastating impact of food insecurity was on all of our minds while packing lunch and dinner bags for My Brother’s Table. We felt energized to play a small role in filling that need and we look forward to finding other ways for our team to help where we can throughout the year.”
He adds, “Knowing that agents everywhere are also doing acts of service this week makes us especially proud to be part of the RE/MAX Network!””

Supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals
Throughout the entire week, RE/MAX Centre Realtors in Jamison, Pennsylvania is collecting an assortment of donations to benefit the Bucks County Housing Group.
Giving back to Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals is also an important aspect of business for Madden and his RE/MAX Centre Realtors colleagues.
“We are a Miracle Office that supports the local Children’s Hospital throughout the year, and it is awesome to see the power of our global network come together for a week of giving back to many different local charities and organizations in addition to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” he says.
All year-round, RE/MAX affiliates choose to support CMN Hospitals by joining the Miracle Home and Miracle Property Program.
Since 1992, RE/MAX has been a proud partner of CMN Hospitals, with the RE/MAX network supporting and donating to more than 170 CMN affiliate hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. During the 30-year partnership, the RE/MAX network has donated over $185 million to CMN Hospitals.
“RE/MAX culture is rooted in giving back all year round. During Global RE/MAX Week, affiliates demonstrate their commitment to bettering the lives of others,” says Shawna Gilbert, RE/MAX Senior Vice President of Global Development. “It’s incredible to see the RE/MAX network make such a meaningful impact worldwide.”
