An accomplished entrepreneur, author, innovator and strategist, Travis Saxton brings a lot of ideas to the table. With more than 20 years of real estate industry experience at companies like T3 Sixty and RealTrends, he has a wealth of knowledge on what real estate professionals need to be successful – and has dynamic plans to help them get there.
That will be Saxton’s focus in his new role as Executive Vice President of Strategy for RE/MAX Holdings.
In his past roles, Saxton has worked with some of the RE/MAX brand’s largest, most prominent brokerages and leaders. Many of them are thrilled about the value he’ll bring to the network.
“Travis is an influential and innovative leader who I’ve had a front row seat to see over the past 15 years. The passion and energy he will bring to RE/MAX will be an instrumental part of our history,” says Brad Whitehouse, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Professionals in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Conrad Zurini, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Escarpment Realty in Stoney Creek, Ontario, agrees.
“Travis’ global vision and understanding of the consumers we serve will act as a conduit to the RE/MAX brand’s continual transformation. I am confident he will foster new opportunities and leverage the strong relationships within the RE/MAX ecosystem, as he has done throughout his previous tenure,” he says.

Saxton spoke to RE/MAX News and shared how his breadth of industry experience positioned him for his RE/MAX Holdings role.
Q: Can you tell us about your multifaceted experience in the real estate industry?
A: I spent eight years at T3 Sixty, leading all technology initiatives there. As their Executive Vice President of Enterprise Solutions, I bridged the gap between real estate businesses and tech companies, figuring out which strategies work best to connect the entities. I’ve seen the implementation and impact of tech on a global level, and I’ve learned to leverage the best strategies to drive growth and opportunities.
That was my focus prior to joining T3 Sixty, too. I was with RealTrends for seven years and helped grow their technology division. I also helped create and launch the America’s Best Real Estate Agents ranking, which is now called RealTrends Verified. From day one with that project, I was always amazed by how strong of a presence RE/MAX affiliates have on those lists. It’s a clear indicator of how RE/MAX leads the industry in productivity.
To put it simply, I like to help our industry enable intelligent change – and with the latest and best resources, I want to help make business outcomes more certain.
Additionally, as a speaker, I’ve had plenty of opportunities to share my insights with others. I’ve been on stage at nearly every major real estate organization’s events – including RE/MAX R4 and the RE/MAX Broker Owner Conference.
Q: What makes RE/MAX – and its network of professional, productive agents – stand out from the competition?
A: For years, I’ve worked closely with some of the biggest brokerages throughout the RE/MAX network and gotten to know many RE/MAX agents along the way. I’ve found RE/MAX affiliates to be incredible professionals and industry leaders. They run impactful local businesses, head up productive teams and lead top brokerages. They’re also just good, genuine, down-to-earth people.
I really do love RE/MAX – it is a trusted and recognizable brand . I’ve had the chance to work closely with plenty of other big names in real estate, but RE/MAX is where I want to be. I believe in the network. I believe in the brand power. And I believe in the leadership. The first time I met with RE/MAX Holdings CEO Erik Carlson, I could tell he brings a new energy to this brand. He shares in my passion for digital innovation, and he has a clear vision for the future of the organization.
As the RE/MAX Holdings Executive Vice President of Strategy, I plan to work at every level of RE/MAX, connecting with agents, team leaders and brokerage owners around the globe.
Q: How are you planning to leverage RE/MAX technology to deliver value to affiliates?
A: The entrepreneurs who are setting themselves up for success are the ones embracing technology. And with RE/MAX, affiliates have access to industry-leading technology that can streamline and grow business. The thing is, they need to be optimizing it to its greatest potential – and that’s where I come in, helping them maximize functionality and uncovering new ways to incorporate the tech into their business.
I’m a big fan of the innovative team at Inside Real Estate (IRE), having had them as a client for eight years, and I think BoldTrail is the best enterprise platform on the market. The strategic partnership between IRE and RE/MAX is a huge competitive advantage, and the MAX/Tech powered by BoldTrail platform is a dynamic, cutting-edge solution people should be leaning into. I’m excited to build on the technological backbone RE/MAX already has in place.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention other game-changing aspects of the RE/MAX technology environment. I was involved in the launch of MAX/Tech Lead Concierge, the RE/MAX solution for keeping an agent’s pipeline full of quality leads. It’s another component of time-saving tech that offers a real advantage to users, and one of many tools I’m eager to incorporate into strategic plans for affiliates.
I’ve worked alongside RE/MAX for a long time, and now is my chance to elevate the brand and empower its affiliates from a new, hands-on perspective. RE/MAX is built upon a remarkably solid foundation – and I can’t wait to play a strategic role in its next chapter.
