RE/MAX, LLC has launched a new consumer real estate search app as well as a relaunched remax.com website. The news demonstrates the RE/MAX focus on providing technology that enhances the home-buying and selling experience and deepens the relationship between clients and top-producing real estate agents.

The app, which features advanced search options and communication capabilities, was developed in tandem with remax.com to provide a more seamless user experience. Consumer preferences were considered during development, and the tools are designed to address the anticipated needs of homebuyers and sellers. Both the RE/MAX app and remax.com are powered by booj, the technology company owned by RE/MAX.

“The RE/MAX app and relaunched remax.com put information and interaction at the fingertips of consumers – and strengthen the value of working with a RE/MAX professional,” says Adam Contos, RE/MAX CEO. “The goal is to connect more homebuyers and sellers with RE/MAX real estate agents in order to make the real estate process better.”

By streamlining communication between a RE/MAX agent and consumer at every step of the home-buying transaction, the RE/MAX Real Estate Search App makes it easier than ever for agents and clients to be on the same page. Consumers can download their agent’s branded app to further that communication and share all of their needs, favorited properties and saved searches. The conversation typically reserved for the the office is now in their hands.

The app also introduces new search functionality like draw search, nearby search and live search. With live search, which uses augmented reality, consumers can point their phones at a home on the market and instantly receive relevant information, including property details, a mortgage breakdown and comparable listings. Then, with one click, they can inform their RE/MAX agent about it. Additionally, app users can search properties by designating specific points of interest.

Likewise, the relaunch of remax.com provides an improved backend for RE/MAX real estate agents and teams and interconnects with their booj powered Agent/Office/Team websites. A big enhancement, RE/MAX says, is that information and searches via the website are instantly shared on the mobile app, giving the consumers all the tools they need at their fingertips, regardless of their location.

RE/MAX agents already average more sales than other real estate agents. This technology ecosystem, the company says, is designed to add to that strength and productivity.

In 2018, RE/MAX set its technology revolution in motion by purchasing Denver-based booj, a web design and technology development company. After a product development phase incorporating input from thousands of RE/MAX affiliates, the initial 2019 launch of the booj Platform included a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and easy-to-build websites for agents, teams and offices. More recently, RE/MAX, LLC announced the acquisition of First, a technology company that leverages data science, machine learning and human interaction to help real estate professionals leverage the value of their personal network.

“The app and website arms the most productive network in real estate with a first-of-its-kind ecosystem to create a more efficient home-buying and selling process,” says Jerry Modes, Senior Vice President of Information Technology at RE/MAX.

The RE/MAX Real Estate Search App is now available for download in the U.S. for iOS, Android and tablets via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. RE/MAX plans to continue rollout to Canada and international regions in the near future.
