With RE/MAX, affiliates are in business for themselves, but not by themselves. A cornerstone of this support is delivered by RE/MAX Region Development, a team dedicated to helping Broker/Owners and agents expand their market presence and achieve their career goals.
In the U.S. the map of company-owned regions is divided into four RE/MAX regions (West, Central, Northeast and Southeast), each with a dedicated team offering support and assistance. Two of those regional teams have new leaders as of December 1, 2023.
Jeff LaGrange, a 17-year veteran with Region Development, now leads RE/MAX Central, which includes Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, parts of Missouri, and Texas. Leigh Anne Clary, who has 10 years of Region Development experience, now leads the six-state RE/MAX Southeast (Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida).
Both of them have a passion for helping others succeed.
“Our regional teams aim to make sure affiliates feel connected to all things RE/MAX, including the latest events, technology tools, and resources. We help them maximize the major competitive advantages of aligning with a universally known brand and the most productive network in real estate,” says LaGrange, a Region Executive Vice President who has led several regional teams in his RE/MAX career.
“Being involved with multiple regions over the years has enabled me to work with so many incredible business owners. It’s been incredibly valuable to see firsthand how the most successful RE/MAX Broker/Owners achieve their goals. When it comes to listening to our affiliates, I’m all ears – because the best ideas often come from the field,” he adds.
Clary – who moved into the Southeast leadership role created by LaGrange’s transfer – spent nearly 10 years as a member of regional teams in the Northeast. She joined the Southeast team as an Area Vice President in July. Her first impression was a good one.
“In the past few months, I have been very impressed with the energy, professionalism, and drive of the RE/MAX Broker/Owners and agents throughout the Southeast,” she says. “RE/MAX is a growth organization, and the affiliates I’ve met have been very focused on growing their businesses and market share.”
Promoted to Vice President, Region Development as part of the recent changes, Clary has a management style that values the input of affiliates.
“I want to maintain – and even strengthen – an environment for open collaboration and communication, where RE/MAX affiliates can have their voices heard and be confident they’ll receive the best support for their unique business needs,” she says.
Clary also has a firm understanding of what fuels the RE/MAX brand – the quality of RE/MAX agents.
“The power of the network is the network itself,” Clary says. “RE/MAX is a dynamic collection of real estate professionals around the globe who exchange referrals and connect with one another, especially during the brand’s annual events.” Clary says. “In today’s digital world, there’s more opportunity to collaborate than ever before. Affiliates are referring clients to one another from different states, countries, and continents. RE/MAX has built a strong, global community over the past 50 years, and it’s an honor to play a role in the growth of the brand and its ever-expanding network.”
“Being part of RE/MAX is being part of something special.”
