It’s RE/MAX Month of Miracles! Here’s How Affiliates Can Get Involved

The start of August marks the start of a wonderful time of year throughout the RE/MAX network: RE/MAX Month of Miracles!

All month long, RE/MAX affiliates go above and beyond to support Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. It’s also an ongoing celebration of the incredible ways RE/MAX agents, teams and offices give back to the organization all year round.

Why CMN Hospitals? The answer goes way back to 1992.

In the past 32 years, RE/MAX agents have donated more than $200 million to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The organization raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals that support the health of 12 million kids each year across the U.S. and Canada.

Here are a few ways RE/MAX affiliates can give back to CMN Hospitals this August during the 13^th annual RE/MAX Month of Miracles:

A cornerstone element of the charitable relationship between RE/MAX and CMN Hospitals is the ongoing RE/MAX Miracle Home and Miracle Property Program. When a participating RE/MAX affiliate designates a listing as a “Miracle Home” or “Miracle Property,” it means they will make a CMN Hospitals donation on behalf of their client when the transaction closes. Affiliates earn the designations of Miracle Agent or Miracle Office if they reach certain charitable milestones.

Better yet, the impact hits close to home – because the donation benefits the local affiliate CMN Hospital.

Each August, RE/MAX affiliates across the U.S. and Canada get creative and host charitable initiatives like events, fundraisers, and donation drives (just to name a few!) that support children’s healthcare.

This year, the RE/MAX network is encouraged to partake in the Month of Miracles Challenge where they can share details of the ways they’re supporting CMN Hospitals to social media with the official hashtag #MonthofMiracles. Plus, participants are encouraged to tag two friends from the network to see how they’re getting involved, too.

Looking for some inspiration? RE/MAX Premier in Atlanta, Georgia – headed up by Broker/Owner Torrence Ford – recently hosted two movie nights to raise money for their local CMN Hospital affiliate. And later in the fall, the office will host their annual Concert Under the Stars event, a cherished community gathering that spotlights local musicians.

During August, all 10 RE/MAX Suburban locations across Illinois will be hosting their second annual Crayons for Kids drive, collecting art supplies to benefit children being treated at their nearby CMN Hospital affiliate. Last year, the initiative collected nearly 1,500 artistic items to donate to kids.

“We chose this cause because art supplies play a crucial role in the healing process for children. Creative activities like drawing and coloring provide therapeutic benefits, helping children express themselves and cope with their medical treatments,” the brokerage shared. “Our Crayons for Kids drive has been highly successful, allowing us to collect and donate art supplies that support Lurie Children’s Hospital’s art and therapy programs.”

They added, “RE/MAX Suburban participates in the Month of Miracles to amplify our efforts in supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The Month of Miracles provides a dedicated time frame where we can intensify our fundraising and awareness activities, engaging our community and partners in making a significant difference. This annual event aligns perfectly with our mission to give back and allows us to host impactful events.”
