Just like the islands that inspire him, real estate leader Myron Kiriu brings warmth, vibrancy, and a fresh perspective to Hawaii’s real estate landscape. Since launching his brokerage in 2004 with just a handful of agents, together with his wife and co-owner Ambur Kiriu, they have grown the operation to 170 professionals who consistently rank as top-performing on the two islands they currently serve: Oahu and Maui.

Accolades, however, aren’t what drive Kiriu – it’s his agents and the communities they serve. That’s why, despite already having a strong island presence, he recently rebranded his six-office brokerage from Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Advantage Realty to REMAX Hawaii. 

“We are now REMAX Hawaii. Everybody knows REMAX is a great real estate brand. Hawaii is one of the most attractive places for people to live and visit. You put the two together – it’s very simple but very powerful,” Kiriu says. 

Along with REMAX brand recognition, Kiriu is especially excited about the global network and technology platform now supporting the agents and clients he so deeply values.

Although Hawaii is a beloved destination for U.S. mainlanders, its housing market is a vibrant mix of local residents and international buyers.

“We have a very international market. People come from all over – Asia, Canada, South America, Europe,” Kiriu says. “REMAX has a global footprint, and the brand is known around the world.”

He’s optimistic that the AI-powered MAXRefer referral network will help his agents build cross-border connections, win more listings, and close sales more efficiently.
