Shawna Gilbert

Shawna Gilbert heads the REMAX Global Development department, which currently services REMAX in more than 110 countries and territories, as well as REMAX Commercial, which has a presence in more than 80 countries and territories. Shawna and her team are responsible for expanding the REMAX and REMAX Commercial global footprints and moving the brands forward all over the world.

Shawna joined the global team at REMAX in 2010 as a Region Development Consultant. She has overseen operations in Canada, Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand and made significant contributions as the network expanded. Shawna was the catalyst behind major upgrades to the REMAX technology suite – including improvements to global.remax.com and the development of multilingual Global Training and Referral platforms. Shawna was promoted to Vice President, Global Development in 2017 and to Senior Vice President, REMAX Global and Commercial in 2022.

Shawna grew up in nearby Casper, Wyoming and moved to Denver, Colorado in 1996.  She earned a Business Management degree at the University of Phoenix and Business Certificates from Harvard Business School in Global Business and Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies. Prior to joining REMAX, Shawna has worked predominantly in the finance industry.
