Giving back: It’s what RE/MAX agents do. After all, community service is a cornerstone value among affiliates of the global real estate brand.

While RE/MAX agents, teams and offices support their communities all year round, they band together during the annual Global RE/MAX Week, a networkwide celebration of service. 2023 marked the third annual rendition of the event.

Catch of glimpse of how RE/MAX affiliates gave back during this year’s Global RE/MAX Week:

Helping combat hunger

Many RE/MAX offices opt to fight hunger in their communities. For example, RE/MAX Leading Professionals in Federal Way, Washington, volunteered at their local food bank, which helps feed over 325 families each day. Together, they prepared 150 bags of non-perishable groceries and 150 bags of produce.

The RE/MAX on Roatán office, located on the island of Roatán, Honduras, donated supplies and volunteered at The Capilla Punta Caliente kitchen to provide meals for those in need.

In Peoria, Arizona, RE/MAX Desert Showcase volunteered at St. Mary’s Food Bank, packing boxes of food items.

And over in Dexter, Maine, RE/MAX Infinity helped out at a local food distribution center. RE/MAX Infinity agents volunteer here on a regular basis throughout the year.

Aiding in life-saving measures

Some RE/MAX affiliates chose to help medically. RE/MAX Traders Unlimited in Peoria, Illinois, hosted a community-wide blood drive. Remarkably, they collected enough blood to save 72 lives.

And RE/MAX Concept in Shumen, Bulgaria participated in the Caps for the Future campaign, which helps donate infant and child medical devices for lifesaving care.

Taking care of animals

Around the world, furry friends are in need of help, too. RE/MAX NorthStar in Clarksville, Tennessee, hosted a donation drive for Montgomery County Animal Care and Control, collecting essential items like pet food, blankets, cleaning supplies, toys, and more. At the same time, they also collected goods for Manna Café Ministries to combat local hunger.

And down in Mont Belvieu, Texas, RE/MAX One hosted a pet food drive to benefit the Baytown Animal Food Pantry. Similarly, RE/MAX Legacy Realty in Fargo, North Dakota, gathered donations for Homeward Animal Shelter.

RE/MAX Real Estate Specialist – Swaziland in Mbabne, Eswatni, donated pet food to the nearby Swaziland Animal Welfare Society. While there, they spent time playing with the animals and providing them with love and affection.

Cleaning up public spaces

Many RE/MAX affiliates got outdoors to help keep their communities clean. For example, the Latch Key Team with RE/MAX Elite in Snohomish, Washington, donned orange vests and picked up litter along a local road. And nearly 5,000 miles away, RE/MAX Dynamite in Hino City of Tokyo, Japan, picked up trash around a local park.

Plus, employees of the RE/MAX Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, helped clean up trash from a local park, too.

Supporting the wellbeing of children

RE/MAX affiliates also find ways to make a positive impact in the lives of children. During Global RE/MAX Week, RE/MAX Total V in Buenos Aires, Argentina, donated education supplies to a rural school.

And, RE/MAX Real Estate Center in LaFayette, Georgia, purchased stuffed animals and delivered them to children at their local Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

While many RE/MAX agents, offices and teams give back to CMN Hospitals during Global RE/MAX Week, the support continues all year round. The RE/MAX Miracle Home and Miracle Property Program enables agents to donate to their local affiliate hospital with each closed transaction, and the annual RE/MAX Month of Miracles – which takes place each August – is an additional way the network bands together to help children in need.

Since 1992, RE/MAX associates have donated nearly $200 million to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals that support the health of 10 million kids each year across the U.S. and Canada.

Finding other creative measures

Creativity is often at the heart of RE/MAX support. RE/MAX Allegiance in Delaware, Ohio hosted a unique event for each business day of Global RE/MAX Week, including a coat drive, book donation, yoga class, teacher appreciation initiative, and breast cancer foundation fundraiser.

And to spread seasonal cheer, Monique Mueller with RE/MAX Hallmark Realty Ltd. in Pickering, Ontario, delivered pumpkins throughout her community.

RE/MAX Puerto Rico paid a visit to their local senior center and brought goodie bags. At the same time, they also collected pet supplies for the Humane Society of Puerto Rico.

In Beaumont, Texas, The Lori Goats Team and The John Arcana Team with RE/MAX One created and sent care packages to local military members stationed out of the state or country.

Agents with RE/MAX Gateway in Chantilly, Virginia, volunteered at Women Giving Back, an organization that helps women and children in crisis by providing them with free clothing.
