RE/MAX has a presence in more than 110 countries and territories around the world. Get to know the RE/MAX Argentina region and how its dynamic leadership team fosters a culture of productivity and community connection.

Here are five facts about the RE/MAX Argentina region:

1. It was one of two RE/MAX Global Regions of the Year for 2022

RE/MAX Argentina was named a RE/MAX Global Region of the Year for 2022 (as was RE/MAX Turkey). This marks the sixth time RE/MAX Argentina has received this prestigious title. The award honors regions outside the U.S. and Canada for their growth and innovation throughout the year.

“We are thrilled to be named a RE/MAX Region of The Year. It is a testament to the productivity and supportive culture within RE/MAX Argentina,” says Dotti Peñate Sosa, a co-owner of the RE/MAX Argentina and RE/MAX Uruguay regions alongside her husband, Sebastian Sosa.

Dotti quips that with Argentina winning the World Cup this year, the region has much to celebrate!

2. The region’s leaders have a dynamic business background

Sebastian is from Argentina and Dotti – who grew up in Spain – is half American and half Spanish. Both likeminded entrepreneurs hold Master’s Degrees in International Affairs.

Prior to overseeing multiple RE/MAX regions, Sebastian did humanitarian work. He then became a RE/MAX agent in the U.S., earning a spot in the RE/MAX 100% Club in his first year of business. Dotti was formerly a television producer. Sebastian and Dotti’s backgrounds and unique experience across multiple industries positioned them to run a strategic business.

Since its inception 18 years ago, RE/MAX Argentina is now home to more than 4,800 agents in over 175 offices across 66 cities throughout the country.

3. RE/MAX Argentina never misses R4

RE/MAX Argentina has a large presence each year at the RE/MAX R4 convention – the RE/MAX brand’s flagship event, which brings together RE/MAX affiliates from around the world. In 2023, Argentina was one of more than 70 countries and territories represented at the annual event.

“Our group is always at R4 wearing our blue and white hats,” Dotti shares. “In 2023, over 200 people attended from the RE/MAX Argentina and RE/MAX Uruguay regions.”

4. The region hosts a country-wide event to thank clients

Each year on International Children’s Day (Día del Niño), RE/MAX Argentina hosts the RE/MAX Kids Tour, which is a celebration of the clients and communities served by the RE/MAX Argentina network. The main event is held at the Hipódromo of San Isidro in Buenos Aires and is catered toward family fun, including organized sports, games, inflatable bounce areas, arts and crafts, food trucks, and more. Variations of the event are held in other cities throughout the country.

In 2023, the series of RE/MAX Kids Tour events brought together 30,000 people in one day.

“The RE/MAX Kids Tour – which takes place in cities all across Argentina – is an impactful way for us to give back to our customers and their families. Real estate is all about relationships, and hosting this event is just one way in which we connect with the communities our network serves,” Dotti says.

5. The RE/MAX Argentina HQ is a top place to work in the country

According to Great Places to Work, the RE/MAX Argentina corporate office was ranked one of the Best Workplaces in Latin America in 2023.
