RE/MAX has a presence in more than 110 countries and territories around the world. Get to know RE/MAX Brazil and how it continues to expand throughout the South American country.
Here are five facts about the RE/MAX Brazil region:
1. RE/MAX Brazil has the most offices among global RE/MAX countries
RE/MAX Brazil is a powerhouse among the RE/MAX network. The region ranks No. 1 for office count and No. 2 for agent count out of all RE/MAX global countries. (“Global” in this case means beyond the U.S. and Canada.)
RE/MAX Brazil also has an impressive footprint throughout the country of 214 million. RE/MAX offices can be found in all of Brazil’s 26 states, as well as its one federal district.
Each year, RE/MAX Brazil hosts its C7 Convention, a flagship gathering for business growth, agent development, and camaraderie among affiliates. It attracts thousands of attendees from near and far. The name – C7 – represents the seven pillars of success upheld by RE/MAX Brazil: honesty, commitment, resilience, partnership, focus, education, and excellence.

2. RE/MAX Brazil is renowned to businesses and consumers alike
RE/MAX Brazil recently won the 2023 Highest Client Satisfaction Award in the real estate category from Reclame Aqui, a company that reviews consumer feedback of Brazilian businesses. The competition was steep, with 1,700 businesses in the running. RE/MAX Brazil was ultimately recognized for its commitment to excellence in customer service, efficient problem solving, and business transparency.
“In a sector as competitive as real estate, RE/MAX Brazil once again demonstrated its leadership by offering excellent services and establishing a solid connection with customers,” says Peixoto Accyoli, CEO of RE/MAX Brazil. “This award is the result of our dedication and commitment to serving the customers of our more than 620 franchises across Brazil. We are proud of this recognition and committed to continuing to raise standards in real estate.”
Another way RE/MAX Brazil takes care of its customers is through its recent partnership with globally recognized paint company Sherwin-Williams. The alignment will help RE/MAX Brazil provide discounts to homebuyers and sellers.
Other accolades from recent years also illustrate the region’s excellence. In 2020, RE/MAX Brazil was honored as Global Region of the Year by RE/MAX, LLC, and it was also named Best Franchise of Brazil by Grupo Globo, beating out companies across all industries.
Plus, RE/MAX Brazil has earned the Excellence in Franchising award by the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) for the past four consecutive years.

3. The region has an abundance of female leadership
Among the region’s 10 teams with the highest revenue in 2022, seven were led by women. Many productive RE/MAX brokerages throughout the country are owned and led by women, too.
“Those in leadership roles throughout RE/MAX Brazil do an incredible job of helping agents find success, and helping customers achieve their real estate goals,” Accyoli says. “Many of our phenomenal leaders are women, and they help elevate the real estate industry every day.”
4. One of its agents is selling Pelé’s house
In 2023, the former penthouse of fútbol/soccer legend Pelé hit the market – and it’s listed by an agent with RE/MAX Urban in São Paulo. The impressive estate boasts over 6,000 square-feet of living space and features panoramic views of the city’s skyline.
Pelé lived in the luxury residence for 13 years.
5. Its company mascot is a dog named MAX
MAX is a 5-year-old golden retriever – named, of course, after RE/MAX. He lives in the RE/MAX Brazil headquarters and is taken care of by all of the employees, bringing smiles to peoples’ faces every day and coming home with them on the weekends.
