With RE/MAX, the highest-achieving real estate agents each run a customized business atop the brand’s longstanding foundation. But they also have a few things in common. They’re consistent. They’re innovative. They’re strategic. And they know the value of relationships – especially ones with fellow top producers.
“I’ve been with RE/MAX for my entire two-decade-long career. For me, there’s never going to be another option of real estate brand to align with – relationships are one of the best parts of being here,” said Jennifer King, a team leader with RE/MAX Evolved in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
King was one of 350 affiliates who in late October attended the 2024 RE/MAX Elite Retreat, an annual invite-only gathering of the brand’s best. This year, the exclusive event was held in Napa, California, and was open to affiliates who earned RE/MAX Pinnacle, Diamond, Titan or Chairman’s Club based on their 2023 production. Top-producing professionals celebrated their accomplishments, strategized for continued business growth and spent quality time with their skillful peers.
“My team just closed our 20th referral this year that was sent to us from other RE/MAX agents. The value of being part of this group is unparalleled,” King said.
That’s a frequently voiced sentiment among the brand’s top producer cohort.
“So many agents chase the next transaction, but we chase the next relationship – and we maintain each one. That’s the foundation of our business,” said Gary Hulkowich of RE/MAX DFW Associates in Frisco, Texas, who co-leads The Hulkowich Group with his wife, Wendy.
The duo, who have more than 40 years of combined experience and run a 100% repeat and referral business, see the Elite Retreat as a time to reconnect with agents from coast to coast.
Positioned just months ahead of the new year, its also a key time to learn.
King shared, “You get to really engage in smaller-scale conversations, and the ideas that come out of the roundtable mastermind sessions are always great. I leave here feeling prepared to implement all kinds of new strategies into my business.”
She hasn’t missed an Elite Retreat since she began qualifying for it. Why? Because the gathering, which lands at luxurious location each year, delivers a unique type of value that’s hard to replicate.

“This event provides top-producing RE/MAX affiliates a platform to collaborate at the highest level with each other. In real time, they can discuss what’s working for them in business, how they’re adapting to market change, and what can be done to take their production to even higher heights,” said Ben Fairfield, RE/MAX Vice President of Growth and Education. “RE/MAX is home of the top producer – and this event is just one of the many ways we continue to maintain that reputation.”
Live mastermind sessions on topics like social media strategy, lead generation and client retention were examples of that. During the social brainstorm, for instance, affiliates shared their best practices for generating social engagement with video content, and left with jotted notes of the latest platforms and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to try.
As the landscape of digital marketing continues to evolve, so do the trends and tendencies of today’s consumers, who take to social sites for their homebuying and selling needs.
“Your digital resume is really important,” Amy Lessinger, President of RE/MAX, told the crowd, noting how a real estate pro’s technological footprint is a critical avenue for strengthening credibility and gaining trust among modern consumers, particularly Gen Z and millennials.

Leveraging insights from the RE/MAX Future of Real Estate Report, Lessinger noted how 41% of consumers from these two key demographics are using social media nowadays to learn about real estate – and one in four of these consumers used Facebook to find their agent. As technology continues to play an increasingly significant role in real estate, even beyond social media, agents need to meet homebuyers and sellers where they’re at.
“I don’t believe AI is going to replace the agent, nor is technology. Your local knowledge and the value that you bring to the transaction is too important,” Lessinger said. “But I will say this – agents who aren’t fully leveraging technology and aren’t leveraging AI will find it harder and harder to transact.”
One way RE/MAX affiliates are embracing technology is with the MAX/Tech powered by BoldTrail platform. An agent-friendly aspect of note includes the recently launched Folio, an AI-powered tool that organizes emails and transactions. Plus, the platform continues to boast improved features like a presentation builder, integrated CMA tool, marketing design center, smart AI-powered CRM and more.
“We are all-in on equipping professionals with the most competitive tools they need to grow and thrive. Not only is MAX/Tech powered by BoldTrail a significant time saver, but it also offers innovative ways to stay organized, conduct client touch bases, convert leads, and seamlessly build business – all in one place,” Lessinger added.
“With this platform, you gain efficiencies and capabilities so you can deliver the experience the next generation of consumers is looking for.”
The new tech offerings from RE/MAX particularly pique the interest of the brand’s top producers, whose commitment to providing exceptional customer service is unwavering. This group continually helps each other raise the bar of superior service through continued collaboration all year long.
“I’m in multiple virtual mastermind groups that meet on a regular basis. The business-building momentum never stops,” King said.
After three days together, the close-knit Elite Retreat attendees departed their California oasis with branded swag in hand, new referral partners in place, meetups planned with longtime pals, action items for business growth ready for deployment, and memories made to last.
What’s clear: RE/MAX top producers are feeling recharged and ready for whatever 2025 has in store.
