2 RE/MAX Agents Named Finalists for RISMedia ‘Rookie of the Year’ Award

The RE/MAX network is home to serious real estate professionals making a meaningful impact on their communities. Most of these professionals have been in the industry for a long time – while others are hitting the ground running at the start of their budding careers.

Accordingly, two RE/MAX agents have been named finalists for the RISMedia “Real Estate Rookie of the Year” award, which honors real estate professionals who are new to the business but stand out as rising stars.

For the third annual rendition of the award, RISMedia selected finalists based on their 2023 sales volume and transaction data, as well as their professional education, incorporation of technology, and community involvement.

The two RE/MAX agents who are finalists for the 2024 award:

Courtney is an agent with RE/MAX Cornerstone in Cave Creek, Arizona. Having spent her whole life in the Phoenix area, Courtney is an integral member of the local community and has a deep appreciation for the surrounding desert landscape. She spent 25 years working in the financial industry, specializing in risk management, before earning her real estate license in 2023 and jumping into a new profession with both feet.

Courtney told RISMedia: “I love the challenge that real estate presents day in and day out. I thrive in an environment that requires organization, friendliness and professionalism, and real estate affords me those opportunities every single day.”

Colton is a member of The Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX Advantage in Nashville, Tennessee, which is the No. 1 RE/MAX team worldwide. The group was recently named “Most Innovative Team” by Inman for their impressive accomplishments. Following a career as a professional hockey player, Colton earned his real estate license in 2022 and has become a go-to professional for plenty of the area’s homebuyers and sellers.

Colton told RISMedia: “I love the unique challenges you have to overcome to ensure a successful closing. It can be like a puzzle trying to ensure every piece fits right.
