Throughout the U.S. in September, homes for sale spent more time on the market, on average, than in months past.
According to the latest RE/MAX National Housing Report, homes across 52 surveyed markets were spending an average of 40 days on the market in September, two days longer than the month prior and five days longer than the year prior. However, some cities had listings selling overall much quicker than the national average.
