RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. has received reports of unauthorized and fraudulent recruiting tactics using the RE/MAX brand. This employment scam involves the posting of jobs (for example, via linkedin.com, indeed.com, or glassdoor.com) and a “hiring process” that can consist of detailed, back-and-forth email communications with someone claiming to be associated with RE/MAX, RE/MAX World Headquarters or RE/MAX Holdings. These fraudulent schemes have been known to use email addresses, domain names, websites, or PDF “interview forms” that contain the RE/MAX name or logos.

Please note that all legitimate job opportunities with RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. require an application to be made using Ultipro.com powered by UKG, which can be accessed only via the RE/MAX Careers website at remax.com/careers.

Furthermore, be aware that during the interview process, RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. will never:

• Request personal information such as a social security number or bank account details
• Request or send money (such as for office equipment, application processing fees or work visas)
• Use a questionnaire-type interview process (for example, a Word document or Google form)
• Make a job offer without speaking with the applicant over the phone and conducting at least one face-to-face video interview.

If you ever have questions about the legitimacy of a job opportunity, please contact CustomerRelations@remax.com with your concerns.

The information above applies to employment with RE/MAX Holdings, Inc., the master franchisor of the RE/MAX network. Independently owned and operated RE/MAX real estate brokerage offices (which operate under an office name that starts with RE/MAX, followed by one or more additional words, such as RE/MAX Professionals or RE/MAX City Properties) conduct their own interview and hiring processes. If you ever have questions about the legitimacy of a job opportunity with a specific RE/MAX office, please consult the RE/MAX office search webpage and contact the office directly. If you receive communication from someone who claims to be associated with a RE/MAX office that cannot be found on that office search webpage, please contact CustomerRelations@remax.com with your concerns.
