Real estate professionals in the Asia Pacific region now have a unique opportunity to train at brokerages throughout the region as part of a new exchange program introduced at the inaugural RE/MAX Asia Pacific Convention. In addition to training, the program opens the door to selling real estate and investments across borders and creates opportunities for increased collaboration between RE/MAX partners from various countries. RE/MAX Japan, RE/MAX Australia and New Zealand and RE/MAX Korea will be participating in the program.
The convention welcomed Regional Owners, Sales Associates, Market Associates, Investors and Developers from across the region to Singapore on July 8-10 for three days of training sessions, regional meetings and special events. Highlights included a keynote presentation from Mr. K. Shanmugam, Singapore’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Law, as well as a gala dinner at the world-class Raffles City Convention Centre ballroom. On the final day attendees were invited for a city experience tour to sightsee and admire the best of Singapore’s dynamic landscape.
One of the goals for the gathering was to open new doors for individuals and their real estate investors to network with other real estate professionals across the globe – especially in the Asia Pacific. The exchange program and a regional training center, also unveiled at the convention, are both steps toward achieving this goal.
Attendees traveled from all over the region, including China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, Micronesia, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, India and Mongolia. The next convention is scheduled for September 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand.
