It’s officially August, which means the 10th annual RE/MAX Month of Miracles is here!
RE/MAX celebrates its partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals – now in its 29th year – with an annual monthlong celebration. It’s a time to raise awareness, encourage donations, thank those who contribute and get people involved.
The RE/MAX passion for CMN Hospitals extends throughout the year. Here are a few creative ways RE/MAX affiliates have been supporting children and their health.
Hosting Video Boot Camp
Michael Thorne, an agent with RE/MAX LifeStyles Realty in Langley, British Columbia, and Jesse Peters, an agent with RE/MAX Executives Realty in Winnipeg, Manitoba, hosted their sixth annual Video Boot Camp course in May, teaching agents how to better leverage video in their marketing and on social media platforms to boost business. In lieu of payment, they encouraged attendees to make a donation to CMN Hospitals.
The turnout was a tremendous success. While they set a goal to raise $25,000 CAD, Thorne and Peters raised a total of $32,000 CAD to benefit local CMN Hospitals.
Becoming a Miracle Agent
Many generous RE/MAX agents reach Miracle Agent status by donating a portion of their commission for each closed transaction to their local CMN Hospital.
“Miracle Agent,” a special title connected to the Miracle Home & Miracle Property Program, is reserved for RE/MAX agents who donate $500 or more annually to CMN Hospitals. Affiliates interested in becoming Miracle Agents can learn more about the program and its impact.
Hitting the Links
RE/MAX Legacy Realty in Fargo, North Dakota, co-hosted its fifth annual golf tournament with 100% of proceeds benefitting their local CMN Hospital, Sanford Children’s Hospital. Office manager Brenda Martinson says 144 golfers came out to support the cause and together raised $35,600.

Collecting Diapers for Babies in Need
RE/MAX Results agents Jordan Johnson and Nikki Sword, of Greenville, South Carolina, have partnered with their local CMN Hospital to run a “Diaper Drive,” collecting diapers to donate to patients and to a community diaper bank. All eight RE/MAX Results brokerages are contributing to the event this August, and Johnson and Sword have set a personal goal of 10,000 diapers between them.

Gathering the Community for a Balloon Fest
RE/MAX Landmark in Canton, Texas, sponsored the 10th annual Balloon Fest hosted by the Canton Texas Visitors Bureau, an annual event that brings families together for camaraderie, fun and – of course – hot air balloon rides flying 50 feet in the air. Net proceeds from the event will benefit their local CMN Hospital, Children’s Health.

Helping Kids Ride in Style
RE/MAX Gold in Elk Grove, California, gave back by donating two mini sports cars (think: micro-BMW!) clad with RE/MAX logos to their local CMN Hospital. These fun vehicles give kids the chance to get around the hospital or ride into the operating room in style.
In total, RE/MAX Gold offices – which comprise the world’s No. 1 RE/MAX brokerage – have raised over $1.2M in recent years for CMN Hospitals and will continue to raise more in 2021.
Selling Miracle Masks
In collaboration with CMN Hospitals, RE/MAX, LLC hosted a contest for children impacted by CMN Hospitals to submit drawings to be made into protective face masks. Dubbed “Miracle Masks,” these timely face coverings feature the artwork of three talented youth.

Advertising the Partnership
New this month is an easy and engaging opportunity for RE/MAX affiliates to show their support of CMN Hospitals. RE/MAX has created CMN Hospitals-branded templates for Facebook and Instagram posts available in the HomeSnap portion of Megaphone. During the month of August, HomeSnap will donate $10 for each Miracle Home advertised with these templates on Facebook and Instagram to its local CMN Hospital, Children’s National in Washington, D.C.
RE/MAX affiliates through the U.S. and Canada have raised over $170 million in total donations to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since the charitable partnership began in 1992. Together, the RE/MAX network continues to change kids’ health and change the future.
