R4 in 2025 was one for the books – and attendees of the premier RE/MAX gathering are feeling the brand’s incredible energy as they head back to their markets ready to win in the year ahead and beyond.

Check out four big takeaways of this year’s RE/MAX convention in Las Vegas:

1. RE/MAX is evolving with exciting innovations

As RE/MAX embarks on its next chapter, the brand is seeing plenty of change.

RE/MAX debuted refreshed digital-first branding to help affiliates stand out online and on social media environments, where the homebuying and selling journey almost always begins. The modernized refresh includes a refreshed balloon logo and logotype, with a new option to place agents – the heart of the business – in the center of the branding.

Other big updates unveiled at the kick-off session included innovations to the powerful MAX/Tech powered by BoldTrail platform – many of which layer in AI capabilities to streamline business – as well as a new, gamified app for social media content creation, strategic education opportunities, numerous marketing tools and resources, and more.

2. RE/MAX referral pipelines are invaluable

It’s a fact: RE/MAX R4 is the home of networking. Many affiliates attend the event each year largely to strengthen their referral pipelines.

“My primary reason for attending R4 is the networking. You can’t beat it,” shared Melissa Park, an agent with RE/MAX Leaders in Centennial, Colorado. “This is my seventh time attending – and I feel like I’ve made great connections with new referral partners.”

That was certainty a shared sentiment.

“Since arriving at R4 this week, I’ve had four new referral opportunities pop up,” said Colleen Collier, an agent with RE/MAX Plus in Buffalo, New York, whose business runs on recommendations of her elite customer service. “Last year, about 50% of my transactions stemmed from agent-to-agent referrals.”

RE/MAX referrals happen in plenty of ways outside of R4. Coming soon, all affiliates will have access to MAX/Refer, a new referral platform fostering strong connections and harnessing the power of AI to streamline the exchange between agents.

3. The brand’s global community is thriving and growing

The famed RE/MAX networking happens on a global scale – and R4 plays a huge role. Each year, the highly anticipated R4 Global Referral Exchange brings affiliates from around the world together to share their culture, celebrate others and make memories. This year, RE/MAX affiliates from nearly 60 countries participated.

“We get to meet amazing agents from different countries who represent amazing properties. And we’ll all stay in touch after the event,” said Alberto Noguerol, an agent with RE/MAX Metro/Playa in San Juan, Puerto Rico. “I’ve already received multiple referrals, and many are going to come visit us to see investment properties.”

Milad Pourish, an agent with RE/MAX United in Helensvale, Queensland in Australia, shared, “This is my first time at R4 and I’ve really loved it. The entertainment, education and new connections with people from other countries is amazing.”

Many RE/MAX affiliates trekked thousands of miles to join the festivities.

“This was my first year in the real estate business and I earned 100% Club,” said Yuri Tanigucki, an agent with RE/MAX Top Agent in Tokyo, Japan. “I came to R4 to celebrate this accomplishment.”

4. RE/MAX affiliates are feeling recharged – and ready for greatness ahead

R4 is an experience like no other. But when the event comes to an end, RE/MAX affiliates leave with timely insights, action items and strategic plans ready to be implemented into business right away. This year, they have plenty of new tools and resources in their pockets – and ones heading their way soon – to build business even bigger.
